Nativity Catholic School promotes healthier eating options in accordance with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’ Wellness Policy. Classroom celebrations will focus on activities (e.g. giving free time, extra recess, music, and reading time,) rather than food. We limit non-nutritious classroom birthday celebrations to one per month and request that snacks and lunches brought from home are healthy options.
In keeping with the guidelines the following procedures will be in effect:
Our meal options will be published monthly and can be found in the left column of this page. The prices for meals in the Titan Café are as follows:
Breakfast $1.50 (includes milk)
Lunch $2.90 (includes milk)
Milk $0.35
Extra Entrée $1.00
Adult Lunch $4.20
Snack $1.00
Nativity has chosen MealTime Online (www.mymealtime.com) to provide the opportunity for parents to make credit card deposits into their student’s lunch account or view their student’s purchase history via the internet. There will be a transaction fee applied to all deposits made through the online system. If you prefer not to pay online, you may send a check to the school office. Invoices will be mailed weekly to notify parents of an outstanding negative balance in the student’s lunch/meal account. If your balance due reaches $100 or more, we will be notified and request that your child bring lunch from home.
Visitors and parents who wish to eat lunch should sign in and pay for their lunch in the school office before going to the Titan Café.
The National School Lunch Program provides assistance for families that qualify for reduced price or free lunches. You may apply for these benefits at any time. Applications can be found under Forms which are located on the left side of this page or in the school office. The school will incur no expenses and the Federal dollars have already been put aside to assist families in making sure their child gets a nutritious lunch.
See our family handbook for our charging policy.
