Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are both offered at Nativity. Boys entering first grade and up can join Cub Scouts. Boys entering sixth grade and up can enter Boy Scouts. Both Cub Scout Pack 462 and Boy Scout Pack 462 are part of the Pathfinder District within the Crossroads of America Council. Scouting is focused on teaching boys about being good citizens in their community by providing character development, citizenship training, and growth in physical and mental fitness as well as leadership skills. Scouting also provides many indoor and outdoor opportunities for boys to participate in camping, canoeing, hiking, craft making, cooking, and competitive games. Cub Scout Pack 462 dens typically meet once a month with a pack meeting held at the end of the month to present awards and talk about the month's activities. Boy Scout Troop 462 typically meets every Tuesday throughout the year. Boys at all levels have the opportunity to attend a variety of camps during the summer time and some campouts and field trips throughout the school year.
