Welcome to Nativity Catholic School!
I remember my own first experience of entering Nativity in 2008. The richness and warmth that drew me to Nativity have increased and become deeper over time. Nativity has a long tradition of preparing students academically and morally for full participation in the world. We also have a long tradition of supporting diversity and of encouraging each student’s development as an individual. Committed to becoming the best school possible, we are driven by the question: What is best for the students? The School’s faculty and staff have made it their mission to understand the intellectual, physical, spiritual, and emotional growth and needs of each student.
Another important Nativity tradition is service to others. Encouraging our students in “compassionate participation in the world” is as fundamental to our mission as the pursuit of excellence. Likewise, character education is an integral part of our curriculum. We want our students to be good people as well as good students.
Teaching our children to be respectful to one another, to put forth their very best, to take responsibility for their actions, to find the positives in everyday life, and becoming strong leaders are the stepping stones to their future aspirations. This year, Nativity will begin using a leadership framework, “The Leader In Me”. The foundational piece of this program is developed from Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Effective Habits of Highly Effective People” and “The Leader In Me”. Stephen Covey believes, “The best way to prepare our children for the future is to emphasize the value of communication, cooperation, initiative, and unique, individual talent…”
While I am honored to be the principal of Nativity, I am even prouder that all members of the Nativity community – students, parents, Nativity parishioners, parish and school staff, alumni, and community members – work hard and well together to help Nativity Catholic School be the best school possible.

By inspiring greatness, all children of Nativity Catholic School will realize their worth and reach their fullest God-given potential.
Nativity Catholic School, a ministry of Nativity Catholic Church, will LEAD through:
* Love rooted in Christ
* Education focused on academic excellence and service to others
* Achievement through personal effort and perseverance
* Development of mind, body, and spirit
…to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever-present teacher in its classes, the model for its children, the inspiration for its staff.
We aim to be a Christian community and witnesses to Christ, where all can experience and grow in Christian love, through God’s word and the gifts of His sacraments, and through prayer and personal example.
